Ganado brothers seek state ring

Ganado's shot at a state football championship ended in the Class 1A, Division I regional playoffs.
But a two brothers from Ganado will be trying to win a ring at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington.
Jared Lambert, who graduated in 1998, is an offensive line coach at Lake Travis.
Wesley Lambert, who graduated in 2000, is a linebackers coach at Wimberley.
Lake Travis (15-0) will play for the Class 4A, Division I championship against Waco Midway (13-2) on Friday at 8 p.m.
Jared Lambert was a defensive end and tight end at Ganado before playing at Angelo State. He coached at Temple and Odessa Permian before joining the Lake Travis staff.
Wimberley (14-0) will play for the Class 3A, Division II title against Argyle (14-1) on Friday at 4 p.m.
Wesley Lambert played defensive end and tight end at Ganado before playing at Angelo State. He was a graduate assistant at the school and coached at Abilene Cooper before joining the Wimberley staff.
Wimberley has two Lamberts on its roster. Quarterback Brady Lambert and younger brother West Lambert.
Neither are related to the Lamberts from Ganado.
