CORPUS CHRISTI - Corpus Christi King broke open a close game in the second half and captured a 55-41 win over Victoria West on Monday at the King gym.
The Lady Mustangs led 24-23 before taking control in the final two quarters.
Mercedes Ellison scored 13 points to lead the Warriors, who fell to 15-10.
