TOP PROSPECTS: The Crossroads Division I football commitments

Signing Day promises to be a banner day for several Crossroads prep football players, and possibly more as Wednesday, Feb. 1, approaches. There are eight Division-I commitments in the area, and more agreeing to play at Division II, Division III and junior college programs. possibly more to come in the next few days. Here's a rundown of the Division I commitments in the area:

• 15-0, Class 2A, Division II state champions
• Texas Football Class 2A Player of the Year
• TSWA first-team all-state at WR; APSE first-team all-state at WR
• First-team WR Advocate all-area team; District 16-2A, Div. II, first-team SE
• 73 catches, 1,776 yards, 26 TDs
• Graduated midyear; already attending classes at Baylor
JOEY HUNT, EL CAMPO
Committed to TCU
