Pools set for 7 on 7 football state tournament

The pools have been set for the Division II state 7 on 7 football tournament.
The tournament will be played Thursday, July 19 and Friday, July 20 at Texas A&M University in College Station.
Edna, Palacios, Rice Consolidated and East Bernard have qualified for the tournament.
Pool play will begin Thursday at noon and 1 p.m. on the intramural fields.
Palacios will be in Pool C with Brownwood, Lago Vista and Frisco Lone Star.
East Bernard will be in Pool G with Glen Rose, Quanah and Abilene Wylie.
Edna will be in Pool J with Celina, Eastland and Fort Stockton.
Rice Consolidated will be in Pool K with Booker, Kaufman and Nevada Community.
The top two finishers in each pool will advance to the single-elimination championship round and the other teams will move to the consolation round.
The consolation round will begin Thursday at 6:30 p.m. and continue on Friday.
The championship round will begin Friday at 8 a.m.
The consolation final will be played Friday at 1:15 p.m., and the championship final is scheduled for 2:15 p.m.
Both finals will be played at Kyle Field.
