ALEXANDRIA, La.- Rob Thomas and Ben Frith combined to pitch a four-hitter and lead the Alexandria Aces to a 5-1 win over the Victoria Generals on Saturday night.
Memorial graduate Trent Wagner hit his third home run of the week in the fifth inning to account for the Generals' only run.
Chad Kruse added a double for the Generals, who split the series and dropped to 20-10 on the season.
The Aces (14-19) had 12 hits against Victoria pitchers Tyler Schnuriger, Kyle Chaskin, Corey Holmes and Jeremy Flores.
The Generals will be off Sunday.
The Texas Collegiate League All-Star Game is scheduled for Monday at 7 p.m. at Riverside Stadium.
