The beer was flowing on the party deck at Riverside Stadium, but the field was soaked.
The Victoria Generals' Texas Collegiate League game against the McKinney Marshals was canceled Thursday because of rain.
The teams were warming up for the game when thunder and lightning was followed by a downpour.
The Generals' game at The Woodlands on Wednesday night was also rained out.
Thursday's game will not be made up since the Marshals do not return to Riverside Stadium in the first-half of the season.
Fans who had tickets to Thursday night's game can redeem them at any Generals home game the rest of the season.
The Generals will reschedule Victoria College Appreciation Night and Little League Night for later in the season, according to general manager Blake Koch.
The Generals have an off day Friday before traveling to Bryan to play the Brazos Valley Bombers on Saturday.
The Generals return to Riverside Stadium on Wednesday to play the East Texas Pump Jacks.
