    Four-run first leads Pump Jacks past Generals



    KILGORE - The Victoria Generals finished their road trip at 2-2 after dropping a 4-2 decision to the East Texas Pump Jacks on Tuesday night.

    East Texas took a 4-0 lead in the first inning against Generals starter Tyler Schnuriger.

    The Generals cut the lead in half in the top of the second on singles by Rudy Flores and Eric Weiss, an error and a RBI ground out by Trent Wagner.

    But the Generals left six men on base and fell to 5-4 on the season. The Pump Jacks improved to 7-1.

    The teams play again Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Riverside Stadium.
