A man who was transported to a Victoria hospital on Tuesday after finishing the Texas Water Safari was reported in stable condition.
Russell Luddeke was airlifted to DeTar Hospital Navarro once his team completed the 260-mile race early Tuesday morning with suspected kidney damage. A DeTar spokeswoman has said Luddeke is in stable condition, but they do not know when he is expected to be released.
