BRYAN - The Victoria Generals snapped a five-game losing streak against the Brazos Valley Bombers in dramatic fashion.
The Generals rallied for six runs in the top of the ninth inning to claim a 12-8 Texas Collegiate League win on Tuesday night.
The Generals (13-8) defeated Brazos Valley (14-7) for the first time this season.
Kevin Daniels had four hits for the Generals (13-8), including an infield single in the ninth.
The Generals tied the game on a single by Alex Klonowski and scored the go-ahead run on a single by Patrick Duncan.
Dallas Ponder pitched three innings of relief and had six strikeouts to earn the win.
The Generals will have Wednesday off before returning to Bryan on Thursday to play the Bombers.
