Little league tournament postponed

The District 27 Little League tournament, scheduled for the Victoria Youth Sports Complex, was postponed until Sunday evening.
Saturday's action was canceled prior to the 7 p.m. start because weather forecasts called for rain throughout the evening. The tournament schedule has been moved back a day, meaning games scheduled for Saturday will be played Sunday, and etcetera.
Victoria Northwest were the 2011 champions. Northwest will face Goliad Sunday evening at 7 p.m. All four Sunday games begin at 7 p.m. at the Victoria Youth Sports Complex.
Saturday's game for the Area II 9-10 championship between Victoria Northeast and Victoria Southeast was also postponed. That game will be played at the Ganado Little League Field on Sunday. The Area I 9-10 championship between Southwest Victoria and Karnes City will take place at the Victoria Youth Sports Complex.
