There are five undefeated teams left in the Crossroads through the first nine weeks of the 2012 football season. And we want you to tell us which team is going to make a long run.
Refugio is looking good to make another long run after winning the Class 2A, Division II state title last year. Of course, a score of teams, not the least of which East Bernard, which is looking to get the bad taste of last year's playoff run out of its mouth this year.
Hallettsville surged late in the season last year, made the playoffs and went three rounds deep. They have continued their success, and will face Edna this week for what will likely determine the top spot in the district.
Calhoun has wrapped up its second straight district title this year and is looking to go further than three rounds into the playoffs this year.
El Campo, after frustration in the first round the last two years as a 4A team, could be poised to make a long playoff run as a Class 3A team in Region IV.
So, which one is it? Vote in our poll or, if we don't have that team listed, tell us in the comments.
