West downs Gonzales for third straight win

GONZALES - Mercedes Ellison scored 21 points to lead Victoria West to a 70-26 win over Gonzales on Tuesday night at the Gonzales gym.
Lauren Rodriguez scored 13 points and Treka Franklin added 11 for the Warriors, who improved to 3-0 on the season.
Kelsey Hardy scored 14 points to pace the Lady Apaches, who dropped to 0-2.
Lady Flyers win
Kensey Marshall scored 20 points to help St. Joseph pick up its first win of the season.
Madison Foeh added 11 points for the Lady Flyers (1-2), who captured a 58-33 win over Palacios.
Kaitlyn Slaughter topped Palacios with 13 points.
