St. Joseph to host district tournament game
The St. Joseph volleyball team will retake the court Thursday evening in a TAPPS District 3-4A tournament game.
The Lady Flyers will host either San Antonio Christian or Austin Hyde Park at 6:30 p.m. St. Joseph beat the Lions in three games on Sept. 22, while its Oct. 13 contest against Hyde Park was canceled due to a bus crash.
St. Joseph is the No. 2 seed in the six-team tournament, which will be held throughout the week. Seeding was determined by a single-round round robin of the nine teams in the district. The champion will be decided on a point system that combines the round robin play and this week's tournament.
If the Lady Flyers (29-5, 6-1) win the tournament, they will be district champions.
