Ganado's Vesely has strong game against Flatonia

FLATONIA - The Ganado Indians (4-1) take another win this week over Flatonia Bulldogs (3-2). This will make it their fourth straight win for the season.

Ganado's Clay Vesely rushed a total of 179 yards for the game, scoring in the first and fourth quarters. Cameron Smith scored on a 28-yard pass from Ray Salazar in the second quarter, giving the Indians the lead at halftime.

Flatonia's Gus Venegas was on the receiving end for a total of 107 yards, scoring in the second quarter on a pass from Will Bruns. Mitchel Mica rushed for 60 yards during the game, scoring on a 1-yard run during the third quarter.

Kaleb Leal scored for Ganado again in the third quarter. Leal, Smith, Salazar and Vesely had a combined 265 rushing yards. The Indians go on to play Louise High School(0-5) next week.
