Kensey Marshall scored 22 points to lead a trio of St. Joseph players in double figures and the Lady Flyers captured a 55-42 TAPPS District 3-4A win over San Antonio Holy Cross on Saturday at the St. Joseph gym.
Chole Shoemake scored 13 points and Kalyn Hempel had 11 for the Lady Flyers, who improved to 18-11 overall and 2-4 in district.
Marshall and Shoemake each had two of St. Joseph's five 3-pointers.
Holy Cross edges Flyers
Tommy Reyes scored with 5 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter to lift San Antonio Holy Cross to a 48-46 TAPPS District 3-4A win over St. Joseph on Saturday.
Barclay Proctor's 3-point attempt at the buzzer rimmed out for the Flyers, who dropped to 14-14 overall and 3-4 in district.
Cody Janak scored 24 points to lead St. Joseph, which led the Knights (14-14, 3-3), 31-20 at halftime.
