UHV goes 1-4 at Cowtown Classic

FORT WORTH - The UHV softball team went 1-4 at the Cowtown Classic.
The Jaguars (2-5) lost 6-5 to Our Lady of the Lake and 6-5 to Oklahoma Arts & Science on Saturday.
UHV opened the tournament on Friday with an 8-0 loss to Lubbock Christian. The Jaguars beat MidAmerica Nazarene 6-1 before losing 6-5 to Our Lady of the Lake.
Meagan Carter was the winning pitcher and Dawn Villegas and Ashley Shannon hit home runs against MidAmercia Nazarene.
