A day after snapping a six-game losing streak, UHV's baseball team fell back into the loss column with a 3-2 victory by Texas Wesleyan.
Joel Rickman drove in the winning run in the bottom of the eighth inning with a single down the third base line that allowed Dusteyn Suttle to break the 2-2 tie.
After giving up a run in the first two innings, UHV rallied later in the game with a run scored in both the fifth and sixth innings.
The Jaguars managed just four hits, with Corti Wilson accounting for half.
UHV returns to Victoria Friday for a four-game, two-day series against Texas A&M Kingsville.
