KINGSVILLE - Texas A&M-Kingsville swept the season series from UHV, claiming a 3-1 win on Saturday at Nolan Ryan Field.
The Javelinas improved to 11-3 with their third straight win over the Jaguars, who dropped to 3-10.
Matt Taska was the winning pitcher for A&M-Kingsville with relief help from Taylor Taska and Memorial graduate Jeremy Flores, who earned his fourth save.
UHV's Nathan Falkenstine yielded three runs in three innings before Andrew Walker pitched five shutout innings.
The Javelinas scored on the first on a bases-loaded walk and added two in the third on a wild pitch and a RBI single by Cash Barker.
The Jaguars lone run came in the second on a sacrifice fly by Dylan Blaha.
UHV returns to Riverside Stadium on Thursday for a doubleheader against Incarnate Word starting at 5 p.m.
