Seven teams will vie for two state berths at the Cowboy 7-on-7 football Division II state qualifying tournament Saturday in Edna.
The host Cowboys qualified for state at the Rice Consolidated tournament, and every other team will be seeking to join them July 11-12 at Southwest Williamson County Regional Park in Leander.
Edna will be joined in Pool A by Tidehaven, Wharton and Port Isabel.
Pool B will include Yoakum, Palacios, Industrial and Rio Hondo.
Pool play begins at 9 a.m. at Cowboy Memorial Stadium and the Edna practice fields.
The semifinal games, which will not include Edna, will be played at Cowboy Memorial Stadium at 12:30 p.m.
The winners will qualify for the state tournament and advance to the tournament championship game set for 1:30 p.m. at the stadium.
