The Yoakum girls golf squad took eighth place at the NISD Marshall Girls Spring Invitational this past weekend.
Victoria West will travel to Kingsville on Thursday and Victoria East is off until April 3, the district tournament tune up, while Goliad is hosting its spring tournament. These tournaments feature just about all of the teams in the Crossroads. St. Joseph varsity girls and boys are travelling to Austin for their pre-district TAPPS tournament. I spent last weekend in Austin at the USTA Tennis On Campus state tournament. This is college tennis on the intramural level. Last weekend was the USPTA convention in Grapevine.
This week, Victoria East, Victoria West and St. Joseph are all playing in Beeville on Friday.
