GARLAND - Unable to stay in sync offensively for any significant scoring runs, Schulenburg couldn't keep up with Brock in Saturday's Class 2A final at the UIL state volleyball tournament, played at Curtis Culwell Center.

SAN ANTONIO - On Saturday morning the Schulenburg volleyball team punched its ticket to the 2A state tournament in Garland beginning Nov. 15 with a 3-1 victory over the defending 2A state champion Poth in Region 4-2A final in San Antonio.
SAN ANTONIO - As the match went on, the Victoria West Warriors got stronger, improved and were able to finish stronger against the Cedar Park Timberwolves.

SAN ANTONIO - For the Schulenburg Lady Horns, another season brought about yet another run to the regional tournament.

It would be inaccurate to consider Friday's regional semifinal contest a revenge match. But, best believe, the Victoria West volleyball team remembers who eliminated them from the playoffs last year.
