Although West won both their games they are scrimmages meaning those losses or wins dont count towards their schedule. If you read the article it states just that. Sounds like your a west parent.
If you look at the brackets they do it this way because their are so few teams in Division 1. If it wasnt done this way for Division1 in TAPPS all you would have to do was win 1 game and then you would be in the state tournament. In football wether it be TAPPS or UIL, many teams make the playoffs with losing district records. West will make the playoffs with only 2 district games. Its just the way it is.

Every year St Joseph has a good year, what they need is a great year to win state. I hope they do, but I see them losing to Dallas Parish @ Regionals
