Any body else COULD win a state championship in football with the talent Refugio has YET AGAIN. But not this guy, the only question mark this team had was who will be quarterback. Lynx Hawthorne came to town and BAM a quality, proven, experienced quarterback just fell out of Weimar, Texas. But does this guy want to use him - NO. What did he say in Fridays Advocate - "Lynx doesn't have Lynx to throw to" That guy needs to look around himself, he is loaded at receiver, Lowrie, Thompson, Brown, Whetsel, etc. without the new kid, and has a backfield, Silvas, Whetsel (again), Franklin, and the list could go on, any high school coach would dream of. But not this guy, he is going to put an inexperienced, scared, interception throwing, fumbling sophmore back there -WHAT? Last I checked the quarterback should be a natural leader and confident ATHLETE - the team will only be as strong as its leader. This guy is a joke.
